Base saves to the Mac in front of you, so it is an app plan. If you want to teach from a browser, or from more than one machine, that is Premium.
For teams
Priced per tutor, not per student, so taking on more students costs you nothing. Every tutor gets the full Premium plan.

Paid yearly takes a further 15% off. One invoice for the whole team, tutors added and removed as your timetable changes, and a student handed from one tutor to another without losing a single lesson.

For students
Free, always.
Open the link your tutor sends and you are in the lesson: no account, no app, nothing installed, on a laptop, an iPad or a phone. Make an account if you want your boards and homework kept between lessons; that is free too.
For parents
£5 a month, bought by the parent rather than the tutor. Seeing which lessons happened and when costs nothing. The subscription opens the lessons themselves: watching one live, the boards, the homework, and the recordings where the tutor allows them. One subscription covers every child linked to the account.
What we do not meter
We do not count your storage, your pages, your books, your recordings or your exports, and we do not charge by the session. Several tools in this market cap students and gigabytes on every tier; this is the main thing to check when you compare, because it is the limit you hit after a term rather than on the first day.
The trial
Fourteen days, every feature, unlimited students while you try it. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. We ask for a card up front so the lesson you teach on day fifteen does not stop working; cancelling takes one tap.
Questions
Do my students need to pay?
No. Students never pay for anything, ever.
Do I need the app?
Not on Premium. There are apps for Mac, iPad and iPhone, but you can teach from any browser, and your students never install anything either way.
What happens to my lessons if I cancel?
Boards saved to your own Mac stay on your Mac; they are ordinary files in a folder you chose. Cloud copies stop being served when the subscription ends.
