What changed

In plain words, newest first. Fixes as well as features: a changelog that only lists the good news is an advertisement.

7 October 2026

  • The “school or work network” setting now reaches a student however they joined — by link, by code typed into the app, by QR or from a recent lesson — instead of only on the link the tutor emailed. It can be changed in the middle of a lesson, and it now makes the app give up on the fast route quickly rather than avoid it, so the same student is quick again at home.
  • Deleting a page that had anything on it put it straight back. Imported PDF pages could never be deleted at all.
  • Saving to PDF keeps each whiteboard page on one page of the PDF rather than splitting a tall one across several.

5 October 2026

  • Handwriting no longer slows down as a lesson goes on. Every stroke was redrawing every page of the document to refresh the thumbnails.
  • A lesson that never dropped is no longer told that it did. A window in the background had its timers throttled, and the first check on returning read its own silence as a dead connection.
  • The microphone check stopped reappearing after a reconnect.

3 October 2026

  • Renaming a student no longer leaves a second folder behind under the old name.
  • Opening an older whiteboard during a lesson no longer takes the transcription with it.
  • Homework can be set from the lesson it belongs to, and reopened, replaced or removed afterwards.
